Miley Cyrus Gives a Book Signing in NY


Actress and singer Miley Cyrus promoted her book, "Miles To Go" at Manhattan Thursday afternoon . Hundreds of fans turned out to get a glimpse of their teen queen.The teen sensation appeared at Barnes and Noble Bookstore on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. According to a report on New York Daily News, the queuing line outside the bookstore stretched around the block as early as 5 a.m., nearly 12 hours before the Disney superstar started signing copies of her memoir "Miles to Go" Thursday afternoon.The starlet signed copies of her new book, which chronicles her road to pop superstardom, only for the first 500 fans in line.In her book, Cyrus writes about her first love, whom she refers to only as "Prince Charming." The teen star also writes that in the sixth grade, she had to endure daily hazing from bullies, who did everything from stealing her books to locking her in the school bathroom.Cyrus told People magazine that looking back, "sometimes I wish I could get an apology, but to be honest I don't need one. I moved on and I believe they moved on as well. Everyone goes through hardships and heartbreaks."
